Designed in close collaboration with Johnny Marr, this signature model reworks the traditional Jaguar formula into something far more streamlined and performance-ready. It starts with a classic alder body finished in crisp Olympic White, paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard that delivers warmth, clarity, and fast playability. Custom-wound Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr single-coil pickups bring a fuller, more articulate voice than standard Jaguar pickups, with enhanced midrange presence and tight low-end response.
Where this guitar really sets itself apart is its reengineered control layout. Gone are the traditional rhythm circuit switches—instead, Marr opted for a simplified 4-position blade switch that offers a range of tones from bright bridge bite to thicker series wiring, giving you humbucker-like punch without sacrificing single-coil detail. Dual “bright” switches further fine-tune high-end response, making it easy to shape your tone on the fly.
The modified vintage-style bridge and tremolo system improve stability and sustain, addressing long-standing Jaguar quirks while preserving its signature feel. A slightly shorter tremolo arm and nylon bridge inserts enhance resonance and keep everything locked in during aggressive playing.
