It features a tropical mahogany top with sapele back and sides, paired with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard for a warm, focused tone and smooth feel. Built on Taylor’s T5z platform, it uses a dual humbucker system plus an acoustic body sensor with a 5-way switching system, allowing a wide range of tones from airy acoustic-like sounds to full electric textures.
